In this edition, all of Giuliani's original right-hand fingerings appear over the studies. Suggested alternative fingerings have been provided in parentheses. This edition contains the first section of progressive studies, and is based on the edition published by N. Simrock in 1812 (entitled Studio per la chitarra/ di Mauro Giuliani/Bonna presso N. Simrock).
