This book reminds us that there is only ONE TRUE God in Heaven and Earth, and Yahweh is His name. He is God all by Himself, and any other so called deity is only a made up god...and they cannot compare or compete with the True God of Heaven and Earth. With that being said, this story is a story about God whooping his enemies, and revealing himself to them that they might get to know him and enter into a covenant relationship with them.
