Welcome to Wendtmurhoefen: Book One: Long Days, Short Knights

Welcome to the hidden kingdom of Wendtmurhoefen- a magical island, cursed long ago to be forgotten over time. These are the narrator's documented accounts of tales throughout the kingdom's history, as told by the many adventurers he encounters throughout his life that have happened to find the island and record some of its historical findings.

This first tale is about one of Wendtmurhoefen's most celebrated heroes, Sir Gilderlilly, and tells of his humble origins. In his very first adventure to find a missing princess and the knights of the kingdom, he meets a very unconventional unicorn that eventually becomes his best friend and co-hero in all of his adventures. Along their journey, they encounter other magical creatures and interesting characters, all while teaching you facts about them you may not have known before and even introducing new creatures and things you never knew existed.

It's a humorous tale, with mystery and plot twists abound. We've kept the violence to a very minimum, as we didn't want any creatures to get hurt in this telling (especially a dragon... could you imagine the ensuing chaos?) and, well, there was really no need for it in the first place.
