My wife was going deaf. Kathy could not hear our grandson tell her "I love you, Grandma." Her last chance was surgery to implant a cochlear device inside of her head. Six weeks after the surgery she died from a stroke caused by a brain hemorrhage. Was her death caused by this surgery, or something else? My life changed the day she died, but the change process began a few weeks prior and continues today. I was grieving and I didn't understand what was happening. This is the raw emotional story of my journey through the dark valley of grief while trying to solve the mystery of my wife's death.
