True Agape

In the early 1940s, as World War II was ravaging Greece, soldiers and civilians were dying by the thousands on a weekly basis. Although having been bombarded daily by life-and-death situations, the love that Anna and Nikolas felt for each other could not be ignored, nor put aside until the end of the war. Anna Bouras, a Greek-American girl whose father was a commercial-ship tycoon, meets Captain Nikolas Theophilos, an Officer in the Greek Royal Navy. They simultaneously fall in love with one another upon first sight. The infatuated couple savors enchanted evenings together, all the while excitedly planning out their future lives. The mirage of their happy future rapidly turns awry as the war, amongst multiple other forces, rends the lovers apart. As if dealing with having to find her beloved Captain Niko wasn't hard enough, Anna will have to deal with much more heartache if she ever hopes to be reunited with her one true love. Can True Agape survive through even the direst of circumstances?
