The Sojourner *Hartley's Enigmatic Paradox*

The cosmos beckoned. Beckoned Hartley's and Liza's singular duality. Yet, Hartley alone began to sense a bit of unease. Although it was beyond his capacity to question, much less to understand, he sensed his own fear. Oddly, he now began to question, to even distrust, his and Liza's singular duality. He sought to disengage, to distance himself, to escape that which he couldn't comprehend, his eternal destiny. But, he also sensed that Liza knew and wouldn't allow. Wouldn't allow Hartley to escape, to wander far. But, by the very nature of their existence, their relationship, she was prevented from doing so.
