The Plates of Brass

The plates of Brass are a source discussed in the Book of Mormon which became the basic scriptures of the Nephite nation. They were taken by the prophet Lehi and his family from Jerusalem to the new world prior to the Babylonian captivity. This study discusses possible sources from which the plates came, what was in them, and how the plates of brass can be compared to the Pentateuch, the first five books of the Bible.
