A natural conclusion might be that Brighton's body isn't under all that granite, and never was. Which opens up another can of worms. If Brighton isn't buried in the avalanche field, what about the other two adult leaders and the Boy Scouts of the Lost Patrol? Were they also not buried by that same avalanche? Further, where are the three men and the Boy Scouts if they aren't entombed under the avalanche debris?
