Beskrivelse
Sherlock Holmes often visited the European continent in the pursuit of solving the cases brought to him at 221B Baker Street. Certainly, it is possible that the great detective crossed paths with the artist Vincent Van Gogh.In this story, in free verse form, Holmes tells Watson of his meetings with both Theo and Vincent Van Gogh and solves a few mysteries along the way.The genesis of this Sherlock Holmes story came from a project to write poems inspired by the works of Vincent Van Gogh. "The Mad Artist" was the seventeenth such poem to be written. All of the Van Gogh inspired poems can be found in the poet's book, "The Van Gogh Poems and Other Poetry."Another fine story written in free verse available on Amazon by Carl Scott Harker is "Frankenstein's Monster in Oz."
