The Immortal Staff-Master

Kevin Midnight is not a very sane man. He dreamed of becoming a superhero like in the comic books. When he is shot through the heart in a mugging and doesn't die, Kevin figures that his dream has come true. Renaming himself the Immortal Staff-Master, he takes to the streets in search of bad guys to beat and lives to save. The world is a dark and scary place, full of threats both mundane and supernatural, but Staff Master intends to stand as a beacon of hope and light. This is the first book in the Iowa Superhero Alliance series.
