The Marks and Blessings of the Crucified LifeIs suffering still a mark of true discipleship in the 21st Century?
The Crucified Life serves as a reminder to the church community that the cross remains the centre of the Christian faith. In a day when there is the downplaying of pain, suffering and discipline, it as a clarion call to return the faith to its primary claims, that faith in Jesus Christ, the One crucified at Calvary, is the only way of salvation and the only way to remain in right relationship with God.
In this book, Pastor and Seminary Lecturer, Rev. Napoleon Black looks seriously at the enemies to the life that pleases God. In this book you will discover:
A fresh message and outlook on the crucifixionThe place of suffering, surrender and self-denial in the Christian lifeThe marks and blessings of the crucified lifeHow to experience the freedom and victory that come with living the crucified life. The Crucified Life is for the Christian who wants to get a better understanding of his faith and go deeper in his faith. It serves as an apologia against some of those new-age type notions that have seeped into the Christian faith. It is a very useful resource to pastors and church leaders to prepare their congregations to understand the cross and the new life in Christ.
