Beskrivelse
Chess is replete with definable situations for which there are characteristic courses of action, especially from a tactical point of view. This book shows you the important signs, called "motives", and the actions relevant to them, which we call the "complement" of the motive. This saves the player time and effort, increases accuracy and reduces errors and oversights.Exceptionally dense in information, diagrams and instruction, this book contains some 180 examples and 500 exercises in 55 sessions to train you to recognize the motives and react accordingly. The solutions are accompanied by a mini-diagram.We assume the reader knows the basic rules and the moves of the pieces and little else (rating below 1000), and the material systematically advances to standard expert-level motives (rating above 2000) illustrated in simple terms and include some positions where even world champion-level players overlooked the motives before them.
