The Birdcatcher

Formerly a second lieutenant, Private Jarrett is on a quest to redeem his soul in this powerful drama of the Vietnam War. Jarrett, with his unique ability to absorb other people's personalities, is recruited by the CIA to locate one of America's most dangerous terrorist, Mark Evans, who converted to Islam. Evans is a mystic who works under the guidance of the Birdcatcher. In this tale of redemption Jarrett encounters death, sex, and tribulations of other personalities who are also seeking a way to endure the harsh realities of war, drugs, and death. Each wants to escape from their surreal surrounding to a world where they find acceptance of who they are, but knowing they may not be able to, turn to Jarrett for help.
