Spirit-Led Approach To Parenting: Healing brokenness in the Family Structure

My suggestions are practical and spiritually conscious, for those of you who are seeking ideas on how to be encouraging, uplifting and empowering to the little people in your life. More African American children are growing up in single-parent homes and or in foster homes. Perhaps this book may or may not work or assist in offering practical ways of overcoming common issues that may occur in small children, and or adolescents at home, school or the community. Through common sense, spiritual guidance of the African Proverbs, Biblical Scriptures, and revelatory wisdom from our Ancestors perhaps, these unique lives will blossom into kind, smart and considerate Hue-man beings who are full of integrity and good character. With over thirty years of parenting, I have learned how spirituality and parenting go hand and hand. No matter how great your love is for your child, they will always find a way to show you, how imperfect you are. Likewise, you will begin to see how flawed your little angels are no matter how deeply your compassion goes and love grows, your patience will get tested. The hope is that tolerance lies in the heart of every family that these unique children will encounter and, that each child will come to know their history, culture and their Spirituality for them to grow and live full prosperous lives.
