Serenade of The Soul: Ghazals of Devotion to the Prophet

Written in the style of the ghazals of the Subcontinental poet, Ghalib, in this collection of poems Safdar expresses his love, devotion, and veneration for the Holy Prophet Muhammad (s). As Sidi Dr. Hasan Awan writes in the foreward, these poems attempt to capture "the poetic expression of an intimate conversation (munaja) with God (swt), Who speaks through the inspired heart of the poet and reminds them of the blessings of His Beloved Prophet (s).
