"Powerful in its characterization, plot, and narrative interactions, Political Dirty Trick is the item of choice for thriller readers who like their stories steeped in realistic scenarios and possibilities."
"It reads like a fast-paced James Patterson cliffhanger." — Mystery and Thriller author William Doonan
A Political Dirty Trick goes horribly wrong and a man is killed. Covering it up may require more casualties.
Crystal Moore's good friend Ron Drake is a shoo-in to win the gubernatorial race in Texas. Two people in the opponent's camp believe their candidate's only chance is if they can pull a political dirty trick, giving Drake bad publicity. They create one.
But something goes terribly wrong and a man is killed. From there, things go downhill.
Damaging "fake news" is leaked to the media and Drake's numbers plummet. Crystal is enlisted to stop the leaks and help Drake regain his lead in the polls.
But soon the question is not just can Drake salvage his campaign, but can Crystal stay alive.
