Poems of Personal Poverty

When you live in material poverty, but are awash in spiritual wealth... that is what the poems in this book are about.

Have you ever been poor? Perhaps, you were poor when young or are now old and poor or were poor sometime inbetween. These poems are for you. Your struggles, like my own, are pretty much everyone's.

And if you have never been poor? Then you should read these poems, too. It will round off your education.

The poetry in this book is based on my personal life, my observations of others and of observations of the world at large.

I think it is important to understand how we see ourselves, more so, than how we are reflected in others' eyes. This subject of personal poverty amongst spiritual wealth is explored through serious poems and light poems. Note that most poems have a touch of optimism - as that is whom I am.

I am more concerned with the inner person - that I am and that you are. These poems are my way of talking with you.
