Daniel Dawes has come back from the war in the Falklands with a broken back and a burden of guilt for the stress he has caused Bonny and Lauren. His healing will be aided by the love of Bonny and Lauren and by the attention of his physiotherapist, Kris. The healing will flow to Kris, who nurses a deep secret.
