Humbly I offer this singular adventure for your delectation and enjoyment, hopefully. A tempestuous, fantastical tale - of two Kingdoms perched upon the precipice of war. Though not, it should be said - each other. A labyrinthine undertaking predominantly involving four disparate souls setting out on personal forays seeking surety, salvation, and remuneration in these troubled times.

A penniless bard. A nervous monk. An aged priest and a meddlesome Queen. Wandering abroad, our Ashland verse in the presence of powerful allies loves, and spiteful companions. And along the way. Encounter, overcome numerous obstacles, sallying forth to meet friends, old and new - mortal enemies in their uncertain misadventures.

No magic rings, except as ornamentation. No dragons, except as mythic terrors. With the commencement of this epic yarn, spanning whole continents - inevitably dragged into divisive crusades.
