Martin, Maya, and Me: A Brief Exploration of Social Injustice and its stories, opinions, and a bit of literary considerations help you explore your own beliefs about yourself, your relation to others—otherwise know as society—and social injustices to begin some much needed healing.

 

What is your belief about who you are as an individual? How do you relate to the Other? Perhaps more than ever, each of us should examine Self in the light of what is happening in our world. Love and light should guide not only your personal healing but also our legislation, public policy, and the continuation of our society. Briefly examining two works by Martin Luther King and Maya Angelou, Michael DePung promotes curiosity and healing through logic and emotion. He shares a few of his own stories and opinions regarding racism and why it's still with us.
