MAMBO TO MURDER Festival That magical time of year when the dance studios in Minneapolis were transformed into gala parties with colorful d cor. Amid the excitement and festive mood, the highlight would be the "West Side Story" party when the Jets gang from the Minneapolis city area would rival the Sharks from the suburb studio in a dance-off. In spite of the friendly banter between these two rival "gangs", at the end of the evening there would be an actual body - a murder victim similar to the end of the Broadway version of "West Side Story". Except this time it wasn't acting. This time it was real.
