To make matters worse, her parents, Mort and Drac, are on the move again, things are amiss at Scarlet's new school, and there's a werewolf intent on revealing her secret. With the first friend she's made in a century and the school carnival fast approaching, Scarlet will need to keep her appetite under control. Things finally start looking up when she meets Granny, the nice old lady who lives in the forest. But there's something else lurking in the woods, and it wants Scarlet dead. For good.
