This book is an ideal teaching tool to help prepare beginning players with 5 piece drum set. It contains excellent sequential instructions covering snare drum, base drum, high tom, mid tom, floor tom, hi hat, crash cymbal, ride cymbal and the ride bell. The lessons are arranged progressively with introduction of a new drum part in each new lesson. Each new introduced drum part is accompanied by sheet music exercise too.
