"Layla" by Colleen Hoover is a creepy and captivating story about falling in and out of love.
Leeds is desperately in love with Layla and convinced that they are meant to be. He knows quickly that this is the woman he is destined to marry and grow old with. However, when tragedy strikes and Layla gets horribly injured, all of Leeds' carefully constructed plans for their future together starts to fall apart. Having spent many weeks in the hospital Layla is now fully recovered physically, but the entire episode has scarred her emotionally and mentally. Hoping to help their relationship recover and getting Layla back to her old, untraumatized self, Leeds arranges to bring her on a small vacation to the romantic bed-and-breakfast where they met each other.
During the stay Layla becomes erratic and different and the distance grows between the lovers. Trying to distance himself from Layla and her behavior, Leeds find solace in another guest at the B&B, the mysterious Willow.
Soon Leeds gets completely drawn in by Willow, while keeping everything secret from Layla. In time Leeds realize that he needs to make a choice between the women because he can't keep them both.
