Kiss me, idiot!

Bored, Abigail looked out the window and puffed on her cigarette. Even though she loved her job, she was far too impatient for it. She had been waiting for two hours to get into the mask, but the photographer was late. He wouldn't show up here for another hour; his flight was delayed. Theoretically she could have gone home again, but it wouldn't have been worth it. Finally the door opened and the make-up artist came in. "We're ready for you now, Miss Hale. Come on." She held the door open, waiting. Abigail put out her cigarette, stood up and walked past her into the next room, where she sat down directly on one of the chairs in front of the large mirrors. The make-up took another hour. This time Abigail passed the time by leafing through her magazine and sending some messages to her friends. They had planned to go to a trendy club that evening, so they clarified what they would wear. After she was finally ready, she was escorted to the actual photo studio, where the photographer greeted her effusively, apologized profusely and then gave her instructions The shot took three hours again, which was really exhausting. But in the end the photos were really good and so she thanked them with a smile. When she was in the taxi home, she made an appointment with her masseur and drove straight there. The massage was relaxing and soothing. So she was ready for a long night of partying. At home she opened a bottle of champagne, put it cold and put on a face mask. She washed them off shortly before she expected her friends and opened the door as soon as the doorbell rang. Laughing, they all hugged each other and then began to style themselves and drink the champagne.
