Her Heart's Desire

Dressed as a lad Alexandra is kidnapped and taken aboard a schooner. Terrified in case they discover her disguise she manages to outwit them and hides under the bunk in the first cabin she finds. There she meets a handsome man who agrees to help her escape. In gratitude, she yields to his advances. She is invited into his titled family's home, but her humble beginning, along with her inadequate attire makes her realize she is out of her depth. She not only has to contend with ridicule from his sister-in-law, but when the older brother in a drunken stupor takes advantage of her, she is humiliated and leaves the Abbey. Just as she is learning to put the past behind her, she discovers she is with child. How is she going to deal with what destiny has in store for her? Most importantly which brother fathered her child?
