The lyrical work of the Austrian poet Franz Josef Czernin combines elements of tradition and avant-garde in an exceptional way. The present volume offers single poem interpretations from all phases of his work. This, on the one hand, shall enable adequate access to an author who is generally regarded as "difficult". On the other hand, the chronological passage intends to give an overview of his publications.
