The only history we know is what we have been taught, and much of that eventually becomes lost in the dustbin of forgotten history.The Lone Ranger was not written just for entertainment. It's creator, George W. Trendle sought to use the classic hero to teachchildren patriotic and moral values. Gas rationing during World War 2 had little to do with conservingprecious fuel.
