Beskrivelse
Sergeant Cole Dyami Turley had been in many battles, but nothing quite like the battle at Gettysburg, the bloodiest and largest battle of the Civil War. He had gained the respect of his men who he had fought with. Now, almost two years later, the war was finally over. The sun was just coming up to start a new day, when he dragged his big framed body off the army cot.
Turley was a large man with broad shoulders, who stood six feet and four inches. His skin was a cream coffee color and, with his brown eyes, most women considered him a handsome man. He could not remember the last time he had slept so well. Today was the day Cole Turley was getting out of the Union Army.
