This book; Finding Balance: A Guide to Holistic Mental Health, is my first foray into the talking and writing about mental health issues. For years I have suffered from anxiety and have read dozens of pieces of work related to this theme. Hence, the idea of creating a simple guide for individuals suffering from mental unwellness, to access tools to help them navigate the issues associated with mental illness. The book is by no means a complete answer to all of these issues. It covers understanding holistic mental health, assessing mental health needs, accessing therapies for mental wellness, healing, finding balance in daily life, overcoming stigma, maintaining holistic mental health, and some resources you can access for your own holistic mental health. I am not an expert in mental health but have worked in the mental health domain and had first hand experience of dealing with my own mental health issues. I hope you find the book useful in your journey to holistic mental health.
