Beskrivelse

El, the Elusive Electron finds its basis in quantum mechanics. It is an attempt to explain parts of quantum mechanics to children. El is an adventuresome Electron and wants to go on a journey to more interesting places than his mother nucleus. He disappears and no one knows where he went. Did he go to a nebula, where stars are made? Did he go to a black hole to consider the depths of a gravity well that descends into darkness beyond where the eye can see? Did he become part of a super nova, an exploding star that is part of the universe's grand fireworks, El could have ended up in more places than can be counted. Eileen, a very smart Electron friend, doesn't Think El ended in any of those billions and billions of places. She thinks he went much closer by, and El is in one of the orbitals near the mother nucleus. She thinks El is in one of these orbitals. Follow Eileen as she goes in search of El, and see what happens. It is an adventure that can be enjoyed by any child interested in science and especially physics. Schrodinger's equations are utilized by Eileen to look for El.
