DIY Rules for a WTF World

Krista Suh took an idea and created a worldwide movement and symbol in just two months. The pussyhat continues to unite women and men from all walks of life. From the cover of The New Yorker and Time, to SNL and the Missoni runway, it is a permanent part of the resistance culture. Like so many women, Krista spent years letting the fear of being unlikeable or failing or disappointing her family stop her from going all in on ideas and learning to live by her own rules. From the myth of the exceptional woman to DIY activism, Krista will talk about how to fight the idea squelchers within and without, how she uses a fear/want chart to make decisions, the goat/horse theory of friendship, how the personal is political and how to create community and inspire action.
