Beskrivelse

The saga of the interaction between the Bernier and Bergeron families continues in Quebec City. Both are prominent, one in Quebec and the other in New York, but they have completely different outlooks on life. While the Berniers readily welcomed their son's tutor Alexis and their new granddaughter Beatrice, the Bergerons would have swept their daughter Alexis' abortion under the rug and not acknowledged it to anyone. Chloe Bernier's newborn daughter Bea is a lovely flower, however, both in body and soul, and she has already managed to unite her whole family in a joyous celebration of her birth. Romance is also in the air as Chloe's brother Mathis pursues his passion for painting, with Alexis' welcome encouragement. Meanwhile, an interplanetary romance involving Zeke the humanoid flourishes amid obstacles, while the banished chauffeur Robert returns to threaten the Bernier household once again. Nothing escapes the notice of Bernier spirits Marie and Felix, however, who resume their efforts to influence beloved family members, both alive and dead. Will their attempts be successful?
