He did not plan on having his dinner meal at a steakhouse or anything like that. Still he was not interested in cooking at home. He was not sure about where to go. So, he thought about it a bit. Then he remembered the Biscuits and Gravy Diner down the street. He decided to stop off for American food at that diner. He entered the place greeting a few people he knew since he could remember. Then he finally sat down at a table. Then he threw his lit cigarette on a gasoline-soaked rag. They did not see a flicker or a small flame at the bar across the street. The detective pushed the lit cigarette away from the chemicals and put out the small flame. He said. "Damn, Sam ""Okay, I thought it all out. I didn't expect you here.""This wouldn't have been some fireworks coming out of the roof and through the doors and windows of the diner. It would have a real wallop, a thunderbolt.""I'msorry ""Me too," he put handcuffs on him, arresting him and he was taken to jail.Sam Daily tried to pack enough of a wallop to make certain that the firemen could not put thefire out. Biscuits and Gravy Diner and the Church burned to the ground before the first fire truck arrived. But less than a week later, Detective Charles visited Patty Daily. He found her packing her things to leave there to return to live in Baltimore, Maryland. The detective was trying to make some sense of why Sam Daily tried to blow up his diner, her car, and the other properties. She told him that it was a whirlwind romance. They met, got married, it fell apart on the honeymoon, and she asked for a divorce only a few weeks into the marriage. "I thought we were truly lovers the first days at the hotel. Sam returned to the hotel suite from lobby after checking on some scheduling with the clerk. He did not tell me that he was going out." She explained in more detail. "Where were you?" I asked.
