When Detective Inspector Paul Banham is called to a suspicious death at the theatre, he finds a puzzling case. Was it an innocent accident - or murder?
The police soon uncover dark secrets lurking beneath the glamour of the stage. As the investigation gets under way rivalries, grudges and illicit liaisons begin to surface and it becomes clear that the dressing rooms are a hotbed of vicious resentments.
A second body leaves Banham in no doubt a dangerous killer is on the loose. It may be Christmas, but one of the cast certainly isn't full of goodwill to all men...
