Book II Summary Shea searches desperately to find her husband while the leader of the United States consolidates his power and shreds the Constitution. Meanwhile, a cold, brutal bureaucrat will stop at nothing to secure the throne for herself. This only sinks the nation deeper into despotism. Together with a former Congressman, Shea creates a resistance movement to challenge the tyranny of the Administration.
