Kate Chopin was an American author whose works i the late 19th century greatly influenced the feminist authors of the 20th century. Chopin's novel At Fault is about a young widow who falls in love with a recently divorced man. The book gives an excellent look at how different the subject of divorce was in Chopin's time.
