Born in Nantes, France on October 16th, 1882, Barbier was 29 years old at his first exhibition in 1911 and he became very popular at the time for his theatre and ballet costumes as well as his illustrations of Haute Couture Fashion. His style is famously known as Art Deco. Barbier died in 1932, at the age of 50 when he was at the very top of his success. The included pictures in this coloring book are part of the public domain and I worked to digitally enhance their clarity and color without losing the original integrity of the illustrations.
