A realistic appraisal of America's political institutions and processes and their chances for achieving the successful resolution of recent internal problems. These problems include lack of respect for the Presidency, Congress, and the judiciary, the high black youth unemployment, and a general moral decay accompanied by increasing levels of criminal activity.
