Alive in the Ghost Town

Coventry in 1981 was a difficult time and place to be young in. Post punks, Colin and Liz become lovers during the dark days of Thatcher's Britain. A tempestuous relationship follows. Then over thirty five years later they are drawn together at a funeral of a dearly loved and departed friend. Colin still feels trapped in that decade but Liz has moved on. Or so she thought until her path crossed again with an old flame. A humorous look at the ageing processs and how we try to recapture our youth. Chapter titles are taken from classic songs of 81. A tale of nostalgia for the past and how it fuels present longing.
