Profile analysis is a major part of airport pavement management. An automated process that is used in Signal processing data with nonlinear and nonstationary characteristics is presented, considering the Hilbert-Huang Transform (HHT), Ensemble Empirical Mode Decomposition (EEMD) approach, utilized to define segments with roughness and resonance issues (critical range of wavelength) between the aircraft and the pavement profile.
