Chrysta Williams was a history teacher, not a hero. So, when she was told to save humanity years after a massive meteor obliterated Earth's surface, she panicked. Especially since none of the previous candidates were ever heard from again. Yet, when their precious water vats began collapsing and their remaining plants withered, she knew something needed to be done to protect the children.

Of course, she didn't realize that having a supercharged piece of the meteor implanted in her upper left arm was part of the assignment. Particularly one that was powerful enough to replicate the same energy levels it had released during the impact. But it isn't until after she's sent to the past on a daring mission to restore their future, that she discovers she has very little control of her deadly stone.
