Sheila Gosney realized that her youngest son Taylor was different from her other children when he reached the age of two. He could not talk. He reacted violently to bright lights and sudden noises. He seemed to live in a different world from the rest of the family. After a series of tests and consultations, Sheila and her husband received the diagnosis: Taylor had a form of autism. For more than a decade, the Gosney family has dealt with the challenges of raising an autistic boy. Along the way, Christian friends have helped them cope with the stresses and hold on to God, trusting his provision for each new day.
