The boy becomes determined to see them closely, specially a young colt that had the longest mane and tail anybody has ever seen. He named the colt Melenudo, a nickname in spanish for males with long hair. Both main characters, Melenudo and Julio live adversity and many adventures which make them stronger and wiser.
