Lemon Gulch: New Edition

Comic Novel:12-year old misfit Danny's search for acceptance leads him through a series of surprise adventures. As Danny pursues these adventures in search for "kindness", he constantly hungers for new words and fantasies to protect himself from those who would oppress him. His voice, with its attendant fanciful pirouettes and linguistic lapses, might be described only half-humorously as "Lemon Gulch Newspeak" (with apologies to George Orwell).
